One Day Isn't Enough

I have never been to boot camp. I have never scaled a wall. I have never fired a real gun, just gaming guns. I have never been to war. I have never been filled with fear as members of my unit dead while doing their duty of protecting what they hold so near the heart, their country. I will never know what it would be like to be a veteran. I do know the honor I feel when I see a soldier come home. I do know what that soldier has given so that I could live with the liberties I cherish. With that ... Thank You, to all that have served, Thank You.
